BIOGRAPHY

I grew up in the North West. After graduating from University College London in 2006 I began my career in television, working as a runner.

In 2015 I edited and filmed Grayson Perry’s Dream House, and later that year completed my first film, a First Cut for Channel 4, Muslim Drag Queens, which earned me two nominations at the 2016 BAFTA awards for Breakthrough Talent and Best Specialist Factual.

Since then I have gone on to make a range of films, including the critically acclaimed American High School for BBC Three, a 6 part series about life inside a 99% African American High School in South Carolina and winner of a Broadcast Digital Awards for Best Documentary Programme in 2017.

I'm now working across a range of exciting projects and continue to seek new and authored ways to tell captivating stories.

Thank you for visiting. Good night and good luck.
